John Koloda is a seasoned executive and strategic advisor with over 40 years of experience guiding decision makers in financial services, mining, not-for-profit and other industries.

Before founding Kolodacore in 2010, he held senior management positions at London Life and Great-West Life, where he led national sales distribution teams and played a pivotal role in corporate acquisition initiatives that reshaped Canada's financial services landscape.

At Kolodacore, John specializes in delivering strategic consulting, as well as tailored facilitation of leadership development, strategic business planning and sales training across industries and continents. The firm is renowned for its commitment to independence, objectivity and confidentiality. These principles underpin every client engagement.

John's expertise extends to facilitating peer-to-peer learning among ultra-high-net-worth individuals. As Chair of the Montreal Chapter and North American/International Best Practice Chair for TIGER 21, he leads confidential group meetings focused on wealth preservation, estate planning, family dynamics and other deeply personal topics. His role involves not only guiding discussions but also mentoring other chairs across North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) to enhance their facilitation and leadership skills.

A graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management Policy, John holds several financial industry designations. Equally at home working in English and French, John travels extensively and is based in Montreal, Canada.

John is actively engaged in the community, serving on boards and volunteering his time and skills in many capacities. He has been actively engaged in advocating for services for the unhoused community and supporting the fight against addiction. He has also served on his local school board.
